My Journal Entry

Now I like to stay awake longer. I like to look around at the new things that I see every where and I also like to sit and talk with my Mom. We have some very deep conversations. I also can see Mom better so when she is talking to me I look at her a lot more. I play a funny game with Mom I distract her with a cute smile and then I spit up all over her. She said that she is going to keep an eye on me and those cute smiles next time. I also am trying hard to hold my head up so I can see things better. I am getting better at it so I can hold my head for a long time. I love it when Mom holds me I try to get her to hold me all of the time because I like to be close to her. Sometimes she carries me in the baby carrier so she can do things around the house and still I can be with her he whole time. Mom has been working hard on a scrapbook for me so that I can look back and read things that I have done. I am excited for that. Mom says she always loved to look at the scrapbooks that her mom made her and she hopes that I will enjoy it as much as she did.

Mom had her last Dr. appointment today they removed the rest of the stitches from the tear from the birth. They said it healed very well.

My Journal Entry

Mom and I went on a long walk today. We walked to Blockbuster to change movies. Then we walked to Target to get a few things for me to have at the babysitter’s on Monday. Like diapers, wipes, bottles, things like that. I slept the entire time. My Mom put me in a baby carrier and she just rocked me to sleep while she was walking around every where. I like being outside it was especially sunny today. Mom never wanted me to have a pacifier but I insisted that I wanted to be sucking on something so Mom had to break down and give me one. I love it very much especially when I am sleeping it helps me to stay asleep.

My Journal Entry

Today they gave me a bottle for the first time. Mom said we need to get use to it because while mom is at work I am going to be at my babysitter's house. We are going to start doing that on Monday Aug 4th so Mom wanted me to be prepared. At first the milk came out very fast but I figured it out and I thought that it was fine. I had so problem with my first bottle.

My babysitter’s name is Lorre (Mimi) she is the Mom of my Mom’s co-worker and friend Natalie. She is really nice and she already watches one other baby but only two times during the week so I am going to get a ton of love and attention from her. She is also very energetic so I think you are going to have a lot of fun with her. She comes sometimes to Mom’s work just to say Hi so Mom hopes she can have me come and visit sometimes. She lives over is West Salem. We have to get up really early at 5:00am to get you fed and ready so Mom can make it to work on time. This is going to be very hard for Mom because she likes to sleep in with me in the mornings.

My Journal Entry

We were going to go up to Portland and hang out with everyone on Saturday but I was really upset because I had a lot of gas and could not get comfortable. It was awefule. Mom thought it would be best to stay home because she was not sure that I would be able to make it all the way up to Portland without being to uncomfortable. So we stayed home. Dad left though to bring Lucciano back home.

My Journal Entry

We went over to my Mom's friend and co-worker's house for dinner her name was Natalie. It was Me, My Mom, Natalie, Malissa from work, and Natalie’s two sisters Penny and Erica and Penny's son Garren. It was fun we went swimming in the pool (not me because it was to cold) and had spaghetti. Natalie was holding me during dinner and I was talking and smiling at her. I did this for a very long time. It was fun to find my little vocal cords. Everyone that it was soooo cute.

My Grandpa Ed, and Uncle Patrick came with his kids ( my cousins ) Elliot and Sebastian they just got here from being in Sweden. They came to visit me because they did not have a chance too on the 4th of July. They thought I was cute and they are excited to have me apart of the family. They also brought my brother with them so the can stay ith us for a week. Elliot and Sebastian had a good time here. They played with my brothers toys and the dogs. They really liked to chase them around.

My Journal Entry

Today at 3:00pm was my second doctor appointment. I don’t like to ride in the car seat very much it is uncomfortable and I don't get to be next to my mom. Every time I am in it I cry because I don't want to be by myself. It is a new thing for me. So we went in to see Dr. Brian Temple and he still thinks I am the cutest baby. He is happy that I am healthy. I am too after all that stuff with the Jaundice it is nice to be feeling better. He wishes that all of his patients looked like me. He says that Mom and Dad are very lucky to have a beautiful healthy baby like me.

My favorite thing when I am tired is to be wrapped up tight in a blanket. I feel so secure. I sleep most of the time in the swing downstairs when I am taking naps. I don't like to my my own bed right now so at night I sleep right next to my Mom. I love it. I am a good sleeper I don't mind hearing the dogs bark or the TV on I just keep sleeping on. I have kind of met Ella and Spike but I think we are all confused on what everyone is but we will figure it out. Mom says I am a perfect baby because I only cry when I want something and that is wonderful because then Mom can make me happy. Mom calls me baby girl and little women.

My Journal Entry

Today is Independence Day I am a little over a week old. We planned on having all of the family come down but Uncle Patrick, Grandpa Ed, and your cousins Sebastian and Elliot were all sick so they could not come down. My Grandma Josephine was in Ecuador with my cousin Francesca. Tia Vanessa, Tia Carla, Zoila, Jose, Jordan, and my brother Lucciano came down. Today was the first day I met my brother he said that I was cute. He was very happy. We took lots of pictures. Everyone thought I was sweet and beautiful. I was a very good baby. I only cried if I wanted something but other than that I would sleep or just look around at all of the new things around me. That is one of my favorite things to do. Mom says I am the sweetest and that she is sooooo in love with me. I am happy for that because I love her too. Today is the day my stinky cord came off. I was glad because it was getting in my way. We stayed at home and watched TV instead of watching fireworks but the noise did not bother me at all. I am a pretyy heavy sleeper.

My Journal Entry

We had a thunder and lightning storm around 1:30am this morning it was very loud. I was eating at the time. It did not bother me very much I thought that the light was cool. My Dad did not wake up at all even thought the thunder was very loud. Ella and Spike seemed kind of nervous they were growling at the storm. Mom had the window open because it had been very warm so she was trying to cool the room. Mom says she likes storms she thinks they are cool to watch.
